our Reps will assist you with all your needs and questions. A Perfect Circle...
My Journey:
In 1993 it started with an article in the local newspaper asking how we can help our teen population
escape the traps of the darker side of life. With my music and recording background, I then began
working with a few dozen churches, doing live concerts and events. From this, I created "Together As
One Ministries," a way to help teens interact in a more positive environment across all denominations
though music and art.
With the many connections in the music and pro-sports arena, the idea of "The Cross-Over café" was
born: a non-alcoholic sports bar and coffee house with live music games and other activities. I found
out very quickly that many obstacles awaited this venture. One was the funding; even though many
adults cry about what is wrong, very few are willing to do anything about it, let alone donate a few
dollars. But this wasn't the biggest obstacle - "politics" posed the main struggle.
In 1993, I started a boiler company and a few of my clients were coffee roasters needing my services to
install and build "after burners" for their roasters. This is where my journey into the wonderful world
of coffee began.
In 1997, I was a director for a non-profit that just acquired a building in Aberdeen, WA, It was the
perfect building for my concept and the city desperately needed something like this, but the cost to
renovate the building was more than the board wanted to spend. I quickly learned that greed and
power can corrupt even many who claim to want to help, and I could not be apart of that scam. So I
left knowing that I needed to fund the next project myself.
In 2003, I was in Moscow Russia and was asked to bring some Seattle coffee back next visit and the
dream was re-born. I then created the first roasted American coffee
ex-ported into the Russian market. (Read Forbes article..)
Coffee and helping my community have always been my passion, and the driving factor in what I do
with my life. So in 2006, I started a coffee fundraising program for a few colleges with "BLACK DOT
COFFEE." It generated great sales. From that point on, I've tried to create the perfect fundraising
program and streamline everything for the benefit of others. This is why I have created "PERFECT
CIRCLE COFFEE."
