The Custom Coffee Division is a continuation of a roasting operation that had been in continuous operation for many years as a
different company.
The roasting operation located in Everett, Washington occupies 120,000 square feet of a 200,000 square foot building near the Boeing
Company's Everett plant. Corporate offices are also headquartered in that building. The company moved its operations to this facility
from a much smaller facility in 2000 to accommodate growth and improve operating efficiencies. Cascade roasts and packages coffee
for a wide variety of coffee companies located throughout the world. Roasting and packaging is to customer specifications using the
customer's coffee, packaging materials and flavorings (toll basis) or using Cascade provided coffee, packaging materials, flavoring
and supplies or any hybrid combination thereof. The roasting operation boasts 5 batch roasters, 16 packaging lines producing sizes
from 7 grams to 5 pounds, a state-of-the-art flavoring operation, and 6 grinders all with the capacity to deliver over 25 million pounds
annually.
